1. Creation Order: Genesis 1:27 where states, "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." This verse means that God created humans with distinct and unchangeable genders.

2. Gender Roles: Deuteronomy 22:5, which says, "A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD [Yahweh] your God," are evidence that the Bible prescribes specific roles and distinctions between genders.

3. Body as Temple: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, which speaks about the body being a temple of the Holy Spirit, means that altering one's body in a way that changes one's gender is inconsistent with honoring God with one's body.

4. Natural Law: Romans 1:26-27 discusses behaviors considered unnatural, and while the specific context addresses homosexual behavior, this includes transgender identities, believing that altering one's gender goes against the natural order God created.

5. Identity in Christ: Galatians 3:28 states, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." This means spiritual equality rather than the elimination of gender distinctions.
