To Our Brothers and Sisters in California: A Pastoral Message Amidst the Wildfires

Dear Beloved,
Our hearts are deeply moved by the reports of the wildfires currently impacting California. In this challenging time, we offer our fervent prayers for all those affected—praying for safety, strength, and protection for our loved ones, the churches, and the communities in the affected areas.
Let us remember the words of the Psalmist: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear” (Psalm 46:1-2).
As one family in Christ, let us unite in prayer for the brave firefighters and first responders working tirelessly to contain the fires. We also ask God to comfort those who have suffered loss and grant peace and healing to all.
To our brothers and sisters in California, please let us know how you are doing and how we might support you during this time. You remain in our hearts and prayers.
May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ sustain you all.

برهان الروح والقوة نشكر الله أن الضجة التي حدثت بخصوص تدريس وإستخدام الإنيا جرام في الخدمة قد هدأت. وبهدوء  أرجو أن أشير إلى أنه ربما لم يخطر على بال الكثيرين أن الخطورة ليست في الإنياجرام فقط، بل يمتد إلى التعليم والكرازة على أساس أي شيئ من علوم الحكمة الانسانية. مثل هذه العلوم قد تكون مفيدة لحد ما للانسان الطبيعي (غير المؤمن)، ولكنها لا تبني او تخلص روح الإنسان، لأنها تتجاهل عمل نعمة الله المخلصة، بل بالعكس قد تعطل الكرازة بصليب وموت وقيامة السيد المسيح وعمل الروح القدس . يضع القديس بولس الرسول هذه الحقيقة أمام أعيننا: " وَكَلاَمِي وَكِرَازَتِي لَمْ يَكُونَا بِكَلاَمِ الْحِكْمَةِ الإِنْسَانِيَّةِ الْمُقْنِعِ بَلْ بِبُرْهَانِ الرُّوحِ وَالْقُوَّةِ، لِكَيْ لاَ يَكُونَ إِيمَانُكُمْ بِحِكْمَةِ النَّاسِ بَلْ بِقُوَّةِ اللهِ" (1 كورنثوس ٢: ٤-٥).
