Today, I was deeply moved by the tears of “Mrs. Grace” as she wept in my office. Her story is not unique, but it is the most recent among many tales of displacement from Egypt and other Middle Eastern countries. Though many knew her story long before me, it was by Divine Will that I came to witness it firsthand. Her tears are the tears of thousands—those who left their homelands because of hardship, whether from Egypt, Iraq, Syria, or elsewhere, in search of a better life in the United States. In our “St. Abraam Ministry,” and undoubtedly in many other churches, we see the continuing struggle of these immigrants. They flee oppression in their countries only to face a different kind of hardship in the so-called land of opportunity. The word "salvation" in Christian thought carries a depth that surpasses ordinary expectations. It encompasses healing from diseases, deliverance from tribulations, life marked by peace and prosperity, freedom from bondage to evil and error, and forgiveness of sins. Salvation opens the eyes of the heart, enabling one to see life from a new perspective, and ushers in a new life with God—eternal life, untouched by death. These are the blessings we ask of God for all the Egyptian people. Without intending to offend anyone, I must speak the truth about the salvation we long for Egypt. Words cannot fully express the grief, lamentation, and abhorrence stirred by the injustices facing Christians in Egypt. Are they living among people—or in a den of lions? In today’s Egypt, lawlessness, bloodshed, deceit, and advocates of evil seem fiercer than lions. In the story of Daniel, when he was cast into the lions’ den, Scripture says, “My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him” (Daniel 6:22, NLT). Early the next morning, the king hurried to the den and cried out in anguish, “Daniel, servant of the living God! Some viewers connected this mysterious figure to the "Green Horse" mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Whether the video depicts a supernatural event or a visual anomaly, its symbolism invites reflection—particularly concerning Egypt's future. In Revelation 6:7–8, the fourth seal reveals a rider on a pale green horse, whose name is Death. The color symbolizes the sickly pallor of a corpse—an image of decay and mortality.
